Habitat for Humanity Victoria and ReStore are extraordinarily grateful for the support given to our organisation. We’ve had an overwhelming response from people throughout Victoria, with donations flooding in from all corners of the state.
We are however, unable to accept donations of all goods, at all times. As with any regular retail store, different times of the year dictate the demand for certain items and, while we endeavour to help people recycle and pay forward good condition belongings they no longer require, we sometimes need to decline donations.
Considerations such as ability to store bulky goods, the appropriateness of the item for sale through ReStore, ability to pick up/receive some donations all play a part in what we can and cannot accept for sale.
ReStore is committed to helping families turn their houses into homes. We accept a wide variety of items and are always interested in helping people find a new owner for the things they no longer need. With that in mind, we can’t accept anything that is stained or dirty, broken or functioning poorly. Keep reading below to find out more about the types of things we can and cannot accept.

If you would like to donate goods to ReStore, please complete the form (on website) below for us to respond to you, or call us on 0487 209 208 during office hours Monday to Friday. You will need to attach a photo in order for us to properly assess the suitability of the donation. You can email us and we will get back to you as soon as we can to let you know whether your donation will be accepted.
Please note, we cannot accept mattresses.
